What is Artificial Ingelligence?

Artificial Intellligence, otherwise known as AI, is an extension of computer science which involves designing programs and systems which can perform simple or complex tasks which would usually require sentient human intelligence, including learning, decision-making, and even problem solving. AI systems have been optimized to adapt to new and recent information, recognize patterns, and are continually improving their performance and efficiency.
