AI in Everyday Life

Artificial Intelligence has progressed beyond just being implemented in research labs but into the everyday lives of tens of millions of people, just in the United States. This tool effects how people communicate, function, and even how they work. In healthcare specifically, artificial intelligence is used to assist workers in predicting pation outcomes, supporting personalized treatment plans, and even in diagnosing diseases and conditions. However, in an industry like finance, these systems can monitor for fraud, give advice on investments, and assess credit risks. Even the industry of education benefits from AI, with personalized learning plans. The article cited explains, “AI technologies are becoming increasingly integrated into our daily lives, from virtual assistance like Siri and Alexa two recommendation systems on Netflix on Amazon” (Hossain 3). These are just some examples which show how artificial intelligence is a practical and already implemented tool, rather just an abstract idea.
